That doesn't mean they can't do things behind her back. They could have negotiated something for the contract that lets the pony in the movie look exactly like her and have two chosen songs by her in the movie that don't relate to the plot in order to promote her, without her knowing about these two points in the contract.
Or, her management could have told her about it and she was against that at first, but they talked her into it somehow.
Nothing says she can't get manipulated or that she always has the confidence to stand up against her management if they disagree with her about something and are determined to push something they want through.
Much as like Svengallop manipulated Rara, she could get manipulated by her manager as well.
I remain cautious on this, there is too much potential risk for abuse and manipulation here.
