Plus, cannonically, she knew the repercussions of her actions and pretty much offered Equestria up as payment.  
I have no sympathy for a spoiled brat like Luna.  
Even less so because depending on comics or show, she was effectively put in cryosleep. Unaware. Unconcious.  
She didn’t suffer during her punishment and she certainly had everything she apparantly didn’t care about in the past handed right back to her because she said ‘Sorry sister’in the first season.

National heroes nopony seems to know. The only one who’s somewhat famous is Twilight and that’s because of her being a princess. Gladmane was probably the first character in six seasons who recognized Fluttershy and Applejack. ;)

See this is part of the problem though, yes her ‘lie’ was revealed. Ponies have a right after that to not trust her as much after that until she proved herself worthy of trust again, though considering her profession as an entertainer it seems a little unjustified or at the very least sketchy to call her out on doing her job as an entertainer making herself seem larger then life to wow an audience, something that any reasonable person would understand comes with the job.
 
However not only did Twilight not offer a hoof of friendship towards her after the events of boast busters, simply letting her run away because she would’learn her lesson someday’ or something along those lines, but practically every other pony showed open hostility towards her for something that was primarily the fault of two idiotic colts being gullible idiots. An event that ultimately only harmed her in some way seeing as it was only her wagon that ended up being completely destroyed. Then presumably the town spreads horrible rumors about her to every other town, or at the very least do nothing to stop news from spreading out about what was ultimately a harmless incident considering what else the town has had to deal with, because everywhere she goes trixie is treated as a pariah and is unable to perform anymore at all. Im more willing to believe that the town spread rumors however, seeing how pinkie and twilight treat trixie with such open hostility as soon as she appears in magic duel before shes even done anything evil and insane, evil insanity caused by an insanity and evil inducing amulet btw which presumably was her choice to wear but we are unaware of whether trixie knew it cause insanity and evil in the wearer before she put it on.
 
I might have been willing to agree with twilight that trixie could not be trusted if it was trixies own ego that had led to her putting on the amulet, not some effort to regain some vestige of pride and respect so that she could live comfortably and in a fulfilling way after her life was completely ruined, that trixie could not be trusted and all that as it would have been far more petty of trixie as opposed to being at least somewhat understandable. As it is it just seems so god damn hypocritical that any of the main six treat her with such disdain when a) they have dealt with worse and forgiven worse then bruised egos and a days worth of humiliation and b) unintentionally or not they ruined her life, and I am almost inclined to believe intentionally if rarities opinions and behavior in this comic were canon to the show , which thank god they probably and hopefully are not.
 
Like if trixie was treated as a pariah only after the alicorn amulet incident, It would have been fine and i would have been content with the twilights distrust of trixie. As it is however they instead ended up shooting themselves in the foot.

Huh, what? Did I miss something? How did the Mane Six actively ruined Trixie’s reputation? I agree, that the heckling done by AJ, Dash and Rarity when Trixie showed up for the first time was unfair but that’s not what ruined her reputation.
 
Snipes and Snails were the ones who brought a dangerous animal into the town because Trixie lied and bragged about how she once defeat such a creature. And in the end when Twilight offered her a hoof in friendship Trixie ran away.
 
Her reputation got ruined because her lie got revealed and she ran away instead of facing the consequences. The Mane Six basically forgot about Trixie and moved on with their lives. None of them went around and told everypony in Equestria about Trixie just to make her life miserable.

People don’t always take every comic into consideration, even when debating/arguing(there is a difference) the merits of a comic from the same series.

Why does everyone keep saying Luna was possessed?
 
There has never been any indication of that in the show (the Tantabus, the closest being to a candidate, was created by Luna to punish herself for having been Nightmare Moon) and even the comic retconned the idea away in Fiendship.

I call that fair play seeing as bringing the Elements to court would be all but immpossible with how they get off from every other offense for a good deed.  
And the deeds done by the magic rocks rather then the people carrying them like glorified palanquin no less.

Well, the reason why Starlight was forgiven and not Trixie is that Starlight did what she did because of something that happened in her childhood, whereas Trixie did what she did for no other reason than to spite Twilight and ponyville. Also, even though what Starlight did was far worse than what Trixie did, at least she changed her personality when she became good, whereas Trixie hasn’t. Honestly, I really, really love what they are doing with Trixie.

It feels hypocritical of the show to me especially given that starlight was shown to have enslaved an entire town of ponies, using her natural magic abbilities no power boosts, completely of her own free will and enforced a kinda living nightmare where every pony acts the same and individuality is frowned on and suppressed, all because her one friend from childhood got a scholarship and never bothered to keep in touch which somehow leads to her suppressing individuality. Meanwhile the pony that had to use a magic power boost insanity inducing amulet to take over a town, who mostly just humiliated ponies physically before obviously slipping into paranoia and insanity and going full dictator, who did so because a town of ponies basically ruined her life and got her ostracized from society by not mitigating the damage at all of something that was barely her fault, she fought even knowing she couldn’t do anything about, and which primarily and basically only ended up damaging her life and valuables. And yet any of the main six, especially twilight, have the gall to treat trixie as the worse pony, for what I can only assume is because they happened to learn starlights ‘tragic’ backstory. Despite them being a source unintentionally or not of trixie’s misery. It just feels highly hypocritical.
 
That being said I toats agree that it makes sense that alot of ponies in equestria would still not trust trixie especially given that alot of ponies probably know what happens to ponyville far more then a boondocks town, and that there’s always gonna be jerks in the world. It’s just hypocritical if the main six do it.
