True. I agree that it probably should’ve been someone other than Rarity. However, I don’t think it’s entirely out of the realm of possibility, regardless of it making them hypocritical and the fact that Trixie helped save them, that the Mane 6 would still not like Trixie and have their doubts about her.

First off, I never said she was a saint, I have just as many critisisms on Chrysalis and literally every character in the show with screen time and focus. I’ve said it a dozen times and yet everyone screams bias.

Yes, because a creature thats predatory in nature, and considering their reaction to a Zebra in modern day Equestria, more then likely a walking nightmare to the Ponies, would ‘ve been able to waltz up and open a dialouge without conflict.

Man, I feel like a man on an island all to himself when it comes to this comic. From what I’ve seen, I think this comic is pretty good and it does a great job with Trixie.

First there’s the fact that ponies wouldn’t attack on sight if they DIDN’T TREAT THEM LIKE PREY. Chrysalis willingly admits to attacking various areas and never once brings up trying to reason with them. If that were the case then she would’ve taken Starlight’s offer instead of flying off. Chrysalis is no saint, she constantly had her army attack Equestria and there was never once any indication she tried a more peaceful route.
 
You’re accusations are nothing more than biased false headcanons simply take the “Tyrant Celestia” meme and ramp it up to fanfic levels of pathetic. To the point where the character you’re talking about is nothing but a hollow shell of what she is canonically.

Firstly, bias. Chrysalis has an entire host of reasons to not want a species that needs negative energy to live to start with and we all know she’d not want a fight on home turf at that point.  
Second, why would they try to work with what is not only prey but attacks them on sight? Are you aware of the term suicide?  
Protecting her kingdom. By torturing an entire race and species for centuries. Last I checked most of these arenmt immortal, so I guess being a child born to suffer by another races ruler’s decision is a normal thing.  
Forth, She let the Heart try to murder a child for years and decided that she’d tell him she knew about it after he’d finally had enough. Thats called being negligent and putting blind faith in things going right without acting on it.  
And considering the heart can’t tell the difference between a hostile target and a non-hostile target I’m hard pressed to call it anything other then a genocidal defense system.  
And yes, I’ll compare similar acts because they are similar, if you actually bother lookong at them.
