Unless the actual play they went to see here comes back and is an important item later in the story, it's less of a Chekov's Gun and more general foreshadowing.


 
However, if the actual Frankenstag book ends up appearing later (which is likely considering the plot is about books) then Twilight mentioning it here in passing would actually count as a Chekov's gun.
