Because they do "real magic" being a wizard and a (basically) god, while Trixie is just a normal unicorn who's good at making a show.
Starlight may have done the teleporting for her, but Trixie was still willing to shoot herself INTO a monster's mouth. She's still the star.
Personnally, I really liked the ending and basically everything Trixie did in the episode. She's got the guts to argue with an entity that has made multiple attempts to conquer the world without any means of actually combating him. The ending is just the logical outcome.
