Twilight tried to use her Unicorn/Alicorn magic when she wasn't a Unicorn/Alicorn and it failed, that in no way shape or form implies that she had no magic. It's entirley possible that her magic was changed into a diffrent form of magic that she couldn't use, or even that she kept the magic inside her but couldn't use it because she lacked the proper equipment to do so at the time.

no horn/humainized form = no active Unicorn/Alicorn magic
Not saying you're wrong, simply that there's no evidence to back up your claim. Even in the scene where Twilight realizes she can't use her magic she doesn't say it's gone, but that it isn't working.
