It wasn't misspelling. hHer name is Miamore Cadenza which is Italian for "My Cadence of Love" or "My Rhythm of Love" (both words means pretty much the same thing), the name was correct but it got changed to Cadance in season 4 for a better reception for the USA public since the Candace/Cadance being the most famous name variation.


 
Regardless I believe calling her both ways are correct since both were used in canon, so you should be able to use either form at your preference.


 
I do a lot of roleplaying games of MLP with other people and we all kept the former Cadence spelling when it comes to her because we feel it's prettier and it has a beautiful meaning since Cadence can also be used to mean moral or cultural increase as decadence means moral or cultural decline.
