Really?, make life hard for everyone, and here i thought that linux is much harder than windows, and honestly look at "[look at those variable version of linux":](http://distrowatch.com/), do most of people give a fuck to try all of those things or at least do some intense research that going to cost them like many weeks or even many months and find what suitable for their system, HELL NO, while yes most mainframe or supercomputer use linux to maximize the workload of the system, but those thing only intended for the experts, and i am not a expert.


 
Windows don't require people with high knowledge of computer to use them, and that's not just the thing, most of computer program and driver are made for windows, troubleshooting in windows is not require a lot knowledge compare to the linux, hack they even have Lallrge of community out there that going to help you to get through the problem, and also you get the support from the Microsoft, because of that windows will probably not going anywhere any time soon.
