Get one thing straight she may be incapable to control her own power because she's quite messy in the head but in no moment nothing ever took possession of her, see the difference: Trixie uses an external tool for magic which possessed over her and corrupted her, Luna used her own magic that comes from herself inside of her, it's the result of her simply being alive, sure she can still corrupt because she can't control it but it can't possess itself lol
