Gee, it's like you never heard of typos.....
Being able to apply the definition to the situation doesn't mean it's right, you can actually use a definition in an incorrect way as well.
An error in logic on the part of the characters does not mean it's one on the part of the plot, you keep pointing out the error of Bloom's logic, not the plots.
So you are using the definition of a plot hole correctly, but applying it to the wrong thing.
