@Niggoslav_Krawczyk
Y’know, I know a giant robot-er-cyborg that could take on the world due to what he’s made from.
His name means “Machine Dragon” in Japanese:
Meet Kiryu. Built using the bones of the first Godzilla, this is the one monster that came close to killing Big G. Due to still carrying the first Godzilla’s soul, and having a bio-computer brain made fron “Regenerator G1”, the old Godzilla within was awakened. This means that he’s more deadly than Godzilla, and is damn near unstoppable. With access to two different weapons packs, built-in missiles in his back, a drill hand, a super maser mouth cannon, and the Absolute Zero Cannon. He’s also faster and more agile than Godzilla. You don’t f*ck with this one.
@OptimusPrimevil Haha, that one would actually be a decent match for Panzer Knight. He’s melee only
Thunder and Lightning act more like Big O and Big Duo though, so he’d be outclassed against those.
The two of them are considered to have firepower equivalent to the whole of the Omaha beach forts.
Looks like one of those pics didn’t come through, so here’s the other guy.
Flyer transformed
And there’s two others I couldn’t find solo screencaps of.
Kinda disappointing it didn’t take off in the west. Got enough reception in Poland for YTPs made though The supergiant one also doubles as a train that carries all the others.
Thematically, imagine if Casablanca met Indiana Jones while vacationing in Hawaii and their baby’s first word was ’Gigantor!’ tl;dr plot: Dangerously ungenre-savvy Germany builds giant robots with Japan, forgetting the old sci-fi anime adage that if there’s more than one giant robot, then they MUST inevitably fight. In this case the Japanese have theirs stolen by non-natives masquerading as loyalists and refitted to work with European parts to battle Germany’s (though some of them switch hands a couple times) The super-huge Japanese guys are sent to oversee recapturing them for the Empire.
Technically though, if that hadn’t happened they’d all be considered on the same side. Yep.
