Not how that works. I can only tell you why you shouldn't if you tell me why I should. But basically, if that's all you need to consider something "edgy" then Princess Luna is edgy. _*Twilight_* is edgy. They've done that before.


 
"Edgy" is, to me, when someone's going out of their way to make something dark and gritty and whatnot. Warhammer 40,000 is edgy. Fallout Equestria: Project Horizons is edgy. White eyes and angry face is just the natural consequence of a pony with power and a cause. If that's edgy, then the bar is so low as to make the _*show itself_* edgy at times.
