Yes but it would be more efficient to improve the security already in place, and would not take 10 years to complete.

People making less money than others isn’t a problem. 2. I agree, healthcare needs to be massively deregulated in order to reduce cost, and 3; just don’t do drugs. Problem solved.

That’s not my point. It’s not that some make more than others, it’s that it’s not easy to get a job these days, since boomers in the past 20 years have offshored all our jobs.
It’s not that simple. Rehabilitation is cheaper and more effective at stopping drug use. We need to target the causes of drug use and help those who are addicted, not put them in prison with murderers and rapists.
Also, Cannabis should be legalized, and then taxed and regulated.

No joke, Amazon and I believe Walmart gives their employees instructions on how to file for government assistance. 2 of the most profitable corporations in the world know they aren’t paying their employees a living wage so they shift the burden on the tax payer as a policy.

I have friends with diabetes that had no say in the matter that are struggling to afford insulin, friends that don’t have kids that are struggling, but yall gonna screech about fringe cases and go on about personal responsibility because you’ve got supportive parents that help you out, or you live with them.

I’m lucky to be in a first world nation like Australia where we have real health care, not America, the richest country with very poor people relative to wealth.
It’s the system, no matter what individual choices you make, unless you fuck over others in the process, if you’re born poor, you’ll remain poor.

That’s true even in Australia, we just have civilized support systems in place that are being whittled away by neoliberalism.

WalMart is also structurally the sort of company that basically promotes theft from within. Mostly of the managerial position and higher, since those guys can just mark down a product as store use and take it home. The rest of the employees don’t have that option. But even then they get preyed on by their bosses. One assessment I heard of WalMart’s wage theft problem is something like a regular employee needs to steal something like a TV a week to equalize it.

Doesn’t matter. We’ll run the companies. They are not the companies. The building is hardly the company. And if they’re running then there’s no one to act as defendant in the case when the workers - who really are the driving force behind any company - come back and pick up where they got left off. Besides, they’re rotten traitors anyways and when they take their shit heel congressmen with them then there’s no one between us and the absolute democratization of the work place.

You’re not really describing anything terrible here. This is all one way how it can turn out.

The drying up of an entire horizon of old bullshit shall be filled with the healing waters of a bright new future.
