Agreed on that first point. When you give your main character unlimited reality-bending, fight-cheating, political-authoritative power like that, you destroy the audience's ability to relate to that character as well as destroy the show's potential for believable dramatic tension. Everyone around here seems to pretend that that isn't the case, or worse, _*celebrates_* it.
