Jesus christ dude my point is I’ve seen a lot of shipping pics/stories where he dies or they get divorced.

And it seems to mostly happen when she’s with Flash.

I’m sorry if I came of as an ass or anything, I was just trying to say that in my view, it doesn’t seem like it would be Flashlight if it involves Twilight getting with another character.

as much as I hate to break up the easy pair of StarBurst, that’s not a bad idea.
 
While both very mentally safe and magic-oriented ponies, Twilight’s by the book nature limits her severely, while Sunburst’s theoretical experimentation and magical theory could encourage her to broaden her way of thinking not only of magic, but of life.
 
And I can tell Sunburst would both love and hate having a mate so powerful.
 
Plus, I hate all the princesses getting shipped with guards. Let the brainy guy get some for once.

Yeah, I agree. Flash is usually just the typical good dad and nothing about their relationship really stands out. Unless the artist forces Flash to be a drunk or something.

i wish poeple would actully focus on the friendship they have instead.

But I did admit the other day that I like FlashBurst, the ONLY Flash ship I like. And not necessarily because I think they’d make a good couple, they just look good together.

People jumped on the FlashLight wagon, then later on realized there were better prospects. But they had to kill or in some other way get rid of Flash to re-ship Twilight.
 
I ship Flash with Bonbon currently. As much as I thought episode 100 was trash, I liked what they were doing with Bonbon.
 
Flash Sentry is a guard but he is bored with his own life. He’s so good natured and friendly that unfortunately he’s passed over a lot. He’s self aware of how generic he is and is growing more and more desperate to make himself stand out.
 
Now I have to weave some strange tale about how he runs into Bonbon doing her thing, and they team up to solve some big mystery.
