Yeah, I’m the one who said Octavia x Big Macintosh. The story on FIMfiction called Folk Style is very sweet and sad.
 
Another one that just came to me the other day is Apple Bloom x Sunset Shimmer. I have no idea what to call it, though (SunBloom, BloomSet, ShimmerBloom?)

I keep neglecting to mention Fluttercora(TM) for mutual love of nature & solitude. One enjoys tending to potentially-lethal fauna in a cabin on the fringe of town, the other to equally volatile flora within the super-spooky forest. Call me crazy, but there’s some potential.
