@Shadow the Hedgehog If you grind in an area long enough then eventually you’ll trigger an empty random encounter with the message “…but nobody came” signifying that you have completely depopulated an area. This plus killing all the bosses is how you get a genocide run going.
@Dirty Bit
Nah is not that
Is about the game judging muy actions. Most of the times I avoid the moral choises, and going to the neutral side. Sometimes I do the moral choises just because (usually the good side) there is a big reward in the end.
Y’know, I remember way back when the demo first came out and it was Goat-mom this and Goat-mom that and I totally passed it by. Now look at it. Might even get the game some day.
Minor bit of hilarity: During Undyne’s first fight one of the text messages might say “smells like fish”. Mercying her and getting her angry changes that to “smells like angry fish”. That’s surprisingly funny to me.
@Solitude
Undyne, Papyrus and Sans are undoubtedly the best characters in my opinion.
Papyrus because he is an innocently sweet goofball.
Sans because he is a silly slacker on the outside and a complete friggin’ badass underneath.
Undyne because she is the most anime fish knight girl ever and she’s choleric and loud and spunky and I love everything about her.
@The_Mungoman
I love overly-confident egomaniacal characters, Papyrus is easily my second favorite character due to how full of himself, yet still completely innocent and nice he is.
My actual favorite? Goat Bro. I don’t care what happens in the game, that comic where Frisk gives him his soul is canon AFAIAC, it’s the only way my feels can function properly
@Dirty Bit Technically they have been good friends all along, but yes, Goat Mom is also great.
I also really like Asgore, especially because he is such a tragically flawed character.
@The_Mungoman Asgore and Toriel’s whole deal is easily one of the most realistically painful things in the game. Its two people who were great together driven apart by an awful tragedy and that destroys their relationship and leaves both with deep, painful scars. On top of that I feel for Asgore on a deep level that only crops up when I really see myself in a character. He’s someone who will commit to a terrible decision that he doesn’t want to make just because everyone else thinks its a good idea. I can relate to that to a truly uncomfortable degree.
Additionally I’m quite fond of Alphys and her whole character arc. When she’s introduced she’s a nervous little nerd, and I just want to make her sit down, take a breath, relax and tell me about her animes. When you find out why exactly she’s the way she is… well its a great twist of the knife and a great take on the old “scientist creates abominations” cliche. Also the fact she not only like Undyne, but its reciprocated gives me a bad case of the warm and fuzzies.
