I personally think trans people are just people who sre unhappy with the gender they were born with, so they end up acting and living like the opposite gender in order to compensate for not having money for gender reassignment surgery. IMO, there's no mental illness in that.
 
In case of doubt, just ask a trans person in real life. Most of the time, they'll not only tell you their identified gender, but also their biological one.

Please keep in mind that those who are trans or just conform to opposite gender standards have all the right to do so, because they _*feel_* it is who they are. There's no "cowardry" in not being happy with the genitalia you were born with.
