Moreso from the GOP in general, which has been on a downward spiral since Reagan at the latest.

Nah the reason Trump gets the assassination attempts is actually a lot more simple. The guy, by design, attracts the crazies. Not just the crazies that vouch for him but also the crazies that really really **really** don't.

The guy is massively polarizing, a polarization he banks on, but polarization works both ways.

In other words, he's a victim of his own strategy, not the lefts.
