We are in a constant culture war and this not only since Bismark and Pope Pious IX entered the ring. Whenever there is general societal disagreement and polarization in societal values is seen. There is nothing astonishing or really surprising about this. What seems extreme today, however, are the ways and means by which these struggles are carried out within modern society.
