Well the intent was to make the contentment procedures the actual horror though there are a few takes on what the procedure that are “outs” for what it’s implied to be one has a researcher found out it’s actually a D-Class reading the girl a bed time story it turns out that it’s fear that maintains the containment they just have to make people THINK it’s something horrifying another story makes it an origin story for a different SCP.
