i really liked that last garnet episode, i kinda felt like her character was going nowhere but this helped me like her again.

I like to think a large part of why she adopted it was because it has one blue eye, which reminds the Ruby part of her of her beloved “Laughy Sapphy”, and Sapphire went along with it because it made Ruby happy.

I know what you mean. She’s been seen a lot in a mentor role, but development as a character in her own right? You don’t see that every day. And that’s sad, ‘cause she’s awesome!
