Is there even a good excuse for there being two games each time cutting you off from completing the dex unless you or a friend buys the other version on your own at this point?

I mean besides that. It reminds me of how Monster Hunter has sold the normal version of the games (Tri, Generations, and World) only to sell the complete version a year or two later (3 Ultimate, Generations Ultimate, Iceborne). It just feels scummy, and I believe that it’s done for scummy reasons.

Though what monster hunter does is more like a company with no concept of early access or patches.

Like in pokemon, the only difference are what mons are catchable (SnS does add different gyms, though just giving the player the opinion to choose what gyms to fight like a pick-your-challange system would fix that, and be pretty cool).

I DOUBT I’m gonna get any results from asking here but I’m having trouble finding any 4 to 5IV Dittos that have Adamant, Jolly and Timid natures. Is there anybody that has one of them? I don’t want to suffer burnout from Pokemon Sword this early. (As much as some of you want me to.)

I’m surprised there’s still no Popeye parodies with Perserker yet.  
Perserker looks like a Mon Bluto would use. Even more so that the Galarian Meowth is traditionally associated with sailors.
 
Imagine being the captain of HMS Admiral Nelson and having a Perserker at your side.
