Regardless, the original SNES version has it’s own charm, and unique graphic style. (The DS remake just reuses most character graphics/sprites from previous GBA & DS Kirby games.)
 
Plus, with the SNES game, you only need one copy of the game to play two-player.

True. (Ultra actually does have different sprites from the previous GBA and DS games though)

Yeah, but it reuses some like Kirby’s, Dedede’s, and other recurring enemies/characters.

I’m pretty sure those are also new sprites… There’s a marked difference in the sprites for those characters in Super Star Ultra compared to, say, Squeak Squad (which really DOES reuse the GBA sprites).

Correct, Super Star Ultra is the same style, but the sprites are a larger scale. Nothing is reused from any game.

Pretty much, yeah.
 
For real though, I always wondered why the sprites in Squeak Squad seemed to be smaller scale than they were in Nightmare in Dream Land or Amazing Mirror despite actually being the same sprites in that case.

Oh okay, lol.

I believe the GBA Kirby games and Squeak Squad were co-developed by Capcom’s now defunct “Flagship” label. They co-developed several Nintendo games back then.

If I remember correctly didn’t they also help co develop every Game boy legend of Zelda game except the link to the past port?

Just the Oracle games and Minish Cap, but that was directly through their main branch rather than Flagship.

I don’t know, I don’t see any difference in the sprites, and keep in mind, the DS has a larger pixel resolution then the GBA, (hence why they look smaller in the DS games) are there any sprite comparison sheets?

Imagine a Switch remake of Super Star Ultra.

Would be cool, though frankly I’m surprised they never made a similar, or sequel game of sorts. Basically, a bunch of shorter Kirby games with varying difficulties, different stories/goals, and play styles that combine into one bigger game.

I’m still hoping that they’ll either remake or at least rerelease amazing mirror or just bring back it’s unique style of multiplayer where after the first level everyone is completely free to run off and do their own things across the worlds while having the ability to call the others for back up if they need it in a new game.

It would be even more realistic.

I recentely replayed Super Star Ultra, Return To Dreamland, Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot after my disappointment in Star Allies, and I can confirm what I always thought: Star Allies is a fucking lazy game that took all the great things of the previous four games and thrown them out of the window.
 
Tell me what’s the point of having so many abilities, including Cleaning and Yo-Yo which were gone for decades, mixable elements that grant even more abilities, and over 40 playable characters if the level design of the game is at the historical minimums and the game is so disarmingly easy that after one hour of gameplay you can’t say anymore if you’re still playing the game or it’s the game that is playing you…
 
The final boss and the extra mode are the only redeemable things of this piece of crap…

They honestly made up for that with a story that brings up a lot of questions about the dangerous enemies that Kirby has faced and bringing back a lot of old characters that people have not seen in ages.

And the fact that they took the discarded beta design of freaking Meta Knight, and used it to create a brand new boss.
 
Seriously, that was lit. Considering that Meta Knight’s full bat design first appeared in a SNES game, it means that Morpho Knight’s design was kept in “hybernation” for decades before being used. Do developers/producers do that a lot? Who know how many discarded things kept in conservation there are in the world.

That wasn’t a beta design though, just an unused design from the canceled GCN game.
