General Anime Thread

I wasn’t a big fan of the first three episodes of Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie, but I think it’s gotten really good since. This is a rare example where the three episode rule does not apply. It got significantly better starting with episode 4, where they started developing the other characters.

It’s based on a Japanese old wive’s tale that if you sneeze then someone somewhere is talking about you.

I think it’s if someone is specifically insulting you, but I forget.

Hibike Euphonium season 3 has been announced.

Aharen-san continues to surprise me. It has more progress in it than 95% of anime romances.

As a first generation anime fan here in Germany, I’ve come to feel that you have to choose your favorite series very consciously these days. And you have to think about whether you consider yourself part of the fanbase, or if you’d rather just be happier as a casual viewer. ;-)

So, Anya has her own Tamagotchi.

I’m going to go see the Revue Starlight movie tonight at my local IMAX.
