Last week was my country’s independence day, so I bring to you… Empanadas de Pino!
A large dumpling-like food made out of chopped beef, chopped onion and spices light fried until everything is nice and juicy, then stuffed inside of a dumpling dough and accompanied of an egg slice, an olive and a raisin per serving.
You deep fry it until it’s brown and crispy, sealing the tasty filling and broth inside, and then it’s NOM time.
