101 Dalmatian Street is inspired by Dodie Smith’s 1956 novel and Walt Disney’s 1961 One Hundred and One Dalmatians. But it is has been updated and moved to contemporary London. It depicts the adventures of eldest Dalmatian siblings Dylan and Dolly, parents Doug and Delilah, and ninety-seven younger puppies, all with names beginning with “D”, who live all by themselves at the titular address.

That’s interesting, I have to admit, though I’m worried they’ll manage to screw this up.

Nickelodeon has made some downright boneheaded decisions. They rejected Adventure Time for fucking Fanboy and Chum Chum, made the A:TLA movie, and gave Fred his own show.

IMO, Fred was actually pretty funny back when he was doing it all himself, before he had a camera crew, actors, and everything looked professional. I was a fan of the dark sense of humor mixed with the cheerful character.
 
Then Nickelodeon got their hands on it, and that’s when it fell downhill.

Actually doesn’t look too bad, looks more traditionally animated/drawn, and kinda reminds me of the ’90s “101 Dalmatians” series.
 
Bought “Batman the Animated Series” Vol. 1 DVD from Walmart recently for only 10 bucks. (Funny how giving it more compact/convient packaging makes it cheaper nowadays.) Forgot how good that series was, and it feels more grown-up then other more grown-up animated shows, even without cussing, and such.
