I like that plan. I also like the idea of having a “treasure room” that’s actually a trash compactor. Sneaky heroes go in, nice compressed cubes come out. Makes a good bio-fuel too, in case you want to be an Eco-freindly villain.

If you’re ever in a race to collect a number of MacGuffins, just to straight to the last one and fortify yourself around it, while deploying a minimum of opposition on your opponent’s trail to keep them from figuring you out. They’ll bring the other right to you. Having a fake handy is also a good rule of thumb when handling MacGuffins.

I’m more surprised that people are allowing me to be the leader.  
But if you stay loyal to me and my cause then you may be the strategist.

Ok we have a defacto leader, a strategist, and an assassin, we need a military commander, a mad scientist, a dark wizard, and some sort of eldrich horror and we’ll have ourselves the makings of a nice little league of evil.

Also my deep love of Warhammer requires me to name any wing of assassins under my command as the “Officio Assassinorum”

The way I see it, weakening the team with infighting will only result in none of us having any power. Besides, not having the responsibility of day to day ruling will give me time to try out some social policies in small, controlled experiment populations before I suggest them to you.

Incidentally, the Imperium gives me quite a few ideas of how to run a successful empire. Nothing keeps citizens in line like an omnipresent Inquisition.

I think we can generate a significant amount of internal revenue with a national gladiator combat league formed of our empire’s lawbreakers, complete with pay per view TV deals, concession stands and splash zones, the possibility of using the undead for urban renewal, and the most efficient way to brainwash children without completely stifling their creativity.
