She was awarded the French Légion d’Honneur (Legion of Honour) twice, as well as the Russian Cross of St. George,the British medal of the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael, and the Serbian Miloš Obilić medal. She was the sole female recipient of the French Croix de Guerre 1914–1918 with the gold palm attribute for service in World War I.

Well, here’s a surprise! Eskimo Callboy (and yes, we all know, including the band, how controversial that name has gotten) was never a stranger to me. They come right from my neighborhood. I even went drunk with Nico Sallach once without knowing that he was the (then) lead singer of To the Rats and Wolves. We just drank, talked, philosophized and damn, they’re just creative bastards. Greatest respect and “Wurstwasser, Junge!” Drink the water from a sausage glass on ex. I have won. And thrown up all over again. Just like him. Stupid things that stupid Germans do when completely drunk. ;-D
