Spencer Davis Group - Catch You On The Rebound, Today Gluggo Tomorrow The World, Mr. Operator, The Screw and Touching Cloth

From the sixth album by the British R&B/Rock group, "Gluggo" (1973)

Gluggo, originally a slang term for beer made up by one of the band's members, was envisioned for this album's art concept as a sort of aphrodisiac/miracle cure tonic. As such, the album art is in the style of a cheesy 60s/70s-style pharmacueutical advertisment, complete with the slogan "It's got to be great to be Gluggo".

This album moved away from the band's usual R&B style into a more Hard rock/Glam rock style. Despite the fact that the brothers Steve (later of Traffic) and Muff Windwood (later a music producer) had departed the group six years prior, they managed to hold together quite well for a while, and this album is quite entertaining!
