Not defending the guy but…I think you underestimate 12 yrs olds, at least in general.
I dont know what happen to the 12 yr olds in your part of the world but here they’re capable of running a shop while playing games in their phone, while Ma or Da is inside watching a show or reading news. Little buggers even watch porn, masturbate and swear like adults.
That’s why I don’t question the plausibility of Harry Potter doing all that adventures in the first book, or Ash in Pokemon or Naruto before the timeskip, because well, kids in my part of the world be like that.
If them little twerps can ride a motorbike three times their size, they’re responsible for shit they pull. Not knowing what’s going on? If you’ve lived life for 12 yrs and still dont know what’s going on, then start questioning why your parents dont let you know.
This DOES NOT excuse the behaviors of predators because they’re manipulators and they prey on the weak and vulnerable. Many girls below 15 go the prostitution route for money where I was from. Inexcusable actions on the part of the pimps, really.
