Just some advice for those who want to write a zombie au.

Have the whole main group survive at least the initial outbreak and perhaps the first few months to allow them to have some moments together before they get separated or offed:

So OpenAI just released a demo video of their video AI generation software and uh

Yeah let me just say that AI generated/assisted tv shows and movies are the future. This is not to promote or denigrate AI or the potential future, this is simply how it’s going to turn out

The only question is, how many jobs in the media industry will be lost from this? For the worker’s sake, I hope it’s minimal but who knows

Imagine if Detroit were made nowadays with this in mind.
The robots taking jobs there were things like construction and shop clerk or whatever not anything that involved creativity and yet there is one part with AI art when they let an android paint but that’s just one of those let the synthetic lifeform show how human it can be.
What a weird way things have actually turned out.
A well I’m at least curious about how an AI trying to be like David Cage might be.

Sam Altman(CEO of OpenAI) has taken random prompts from Twitter, put it into Sora(the ML algo that makes these videos) and has replied to those people with the resulting videos

So this ML Algorithm works fast

There’s obvious flaws, but this technology is only going to improve esp with Microsoft’s backing

To be fair, manual labour jobs has always been the primary targets of automation(and ML AI is targeting them, see: self driving AI) it’s just this form of automation is accelerating fast

Pandora’s Box has been opened, there’s no closing it

Even if the entirety of OpenAI’s staff drops dead tomorrow and their servers go up in flames, there are dozens of other machine learning companies that are doing the same as them

Even if the US regulates it(which I doubt), other countries, especially the US’s rivals, will be more than happy to fill in the vacuum
