Same. I suck at making small talk.

I’ve never had a single date in my entire life.

I don’t know why, but I keep repeating this mantra to myself every single day without thought or action.
 
“It’s about doing what’s right and helping people. Isn’t that worth something?”
 
I don’t know why I do it, nor can I remember when it started. I just do it every single day it honestly, it keeps me calm every time I do it. A weird mantra, probably a few years old, but I like it.

I’m too lazy to type more than 140 characters here atm, and holy fuck is there a lot of shit to respond to in this very thread.

I ate dog food, thinking it was Reese’s puffs when I was a kid…

I cuddle at least one pony plush each night.

I now have a crippling fear of the orange envelope on this site.

Spicy food and me aren’t the best friend, I will avoid any spicy food if I can. In fact I once embarrassed myself in front of my friends and my teacher when we event where we eat together thanks to bird’s eye chili. It was so spicy that I ending up drinking my teacher’s orange juice after I drank mine to despite the heat.

… Dude, that’s the most common type of chili you can find in East Asia. Hell, a lot of dishes there use it. It’s basically a staple spice, much like salt and pepper.
 
Also, when you cook it, you’re supposed to remove all the seeds. The seeds is where most of the spiciness comes from. You remove it, and use the red body instead which is less spicy but sweeter.
 
I think that was just bad luck that day.

I am sure not if bird’s eyes Chili the most common type of chili in Indonesia or at least my town. We usually use green chili or red chili which have 5,000-10,000 SHU, while Bird’s Eye chili have 100,000+ SHU. I generally don’t mind if the dish use green or red chili. My mom usually cook a food with that. But if it have Bird’s eye chili then I will avoid it. that time the dish is a fried chicken cover with bird’s eyes Chili sauce (yes they didn’t remove the seeds)

Well, that explains a lot. No wonder it was too hot for you. My parents usually remove the seeds. The only times they don’t is when they make budu or some other sauce. The heat is kinda needed there.

I keep my controversial and/or unusual views private for the sake of interpersonal cohesion, but it just makes me feel like a coward.

I often wonder what it would be like to have people to mingle around as many do, since I do everything myself. I’ve hardly experienced the things I call “normal” people do. It almost seems like I’m dreaming and I’m alive to be tormented for a past-life.
