College is great, but you're pretty much stuck with medicine, actuarial degrees, engineering, and being a lawyer (and actuarial and engineering degrees typically require an internship to have work right out of college). (All of these things pay better and have a lesser workload than the vast majority of trades.)

EDIT: I found out about Computer Science. It looks promising.
