Automotive enthusiasts?

For the price I paid to drive my truck off the lot, there are a good number of used Ferrari F430s I could have got instead, and plenty of 360s. But I’ve never seen the point of actually owning a car like that when the quality isn’t even that great.

Is it worth buying more fords so I have the entire diesel line up that they produced? I would still need to get an older 7.3 from before the name powerstroke was acquired and the engines were naturally aspirated, an excursion with the 7.3, a 6.0, 6.4, and an older 6.7. Would it be worth it to say like I’m also the ultimate ford fanboy?

I’ve put my bison project on hold for now because the new transmission I need hasn’t come in yet so completing fords diesel lineup would be a good way to pass time

Am i the onl one that wants to get a hold of an old Chrysler air raid siren? It was built partially with a dodge truck chassis and a 180HP hemi engine with 331 cubic centimeters of displacement. It was said that these old beasts could be heard up to 25 miles away on a perfect day.

Right now I just want to get out of this lockdown. I pulled the fuel pump relay from my truck just to keep it from being stolen since it just sits in the driveway 24/7 now while crime is projected to increase.

I pulled the batteries from my trucks along with the starters and the glow plugs. No ones gonna fire up a diesel without those. I want this lock down to be over because I’m more bored than anything. The Eatonfuller 18 speed transmission I ordered for my bison won’t ship until after it’s over. I’m half tempted to just go pick it up myself.

This pandemic won’t end any time soon. It may be a month or two before there is an all-clear, then more reports of infections will surface, then people will panic again, and the cycle will continue until it wears itself out.
 
As for how the auto industry will be impacted, it’s too early to say. A lot of businesses are going to be in pain before this is over.

I’ll most likely die of boredom before then. I can’t even go back to school now until mid April because a staff member tested positive for the virus.
