Honestly I don’t really mind artists that leave, if they leave all of their art still up. People can take as long as a break or completely leave the fandom altogether, dun really mind in this case.
It’s when they try and hide everything they had to do with the fandom, or used this fandom to get popular then remove all pony art and go onto something else that’s annoying.
Honestly though, after the way S5 finale went, I can see S6 as a massive make it or break it season, if too many episodes come out that people don’t like, feels like we may lose many more artists.

That’s the real issue though, yes new artists come in to fill the shoe’s of the ones leaving, but that means that people need to get used to the new artist styles and such. Kashipanda for example, has a following as such that they could post anything and it would be spammed with upvotes. A new artist posts their best work and can go mostly unnoticed, Kashi leaves, people notice the leave, but still barely notice the other new artists work.
That, and people’s lack of seeing new not as good artwork be posted compared to before. When the older artists started out, they could post bad art, and it would be liked because we didn’t have much else. Now new people come to the scene to practice they get demoralised by others saying that their first art piece drawn sucks.
