Reminds me of what Dee Snider said when Tipper Gore and the PMRC were claiming that his music has messages encouraging sadomasochism and rape:
 
“The only sadomasochism, bondage, and rape in this song is in the mind of Ms. Gore… Songs allow a person to put their own imagination, experiences, and dreams into the lyrics. People can interpret it in many ways. Ms. Gore was looking for sadomasochism and bondage, and she found it.”
 
If you go into something looking for things to get angry at, then you will find those things. Your mind is already made and there is no changing it. If you go in with an open mind, however, you might just find that you like it.

I was talking about people who are paid to see a movie and how they’ve not given it an honest review.
 
“Please respect our opinions! Oh, by the way, if you liked the movie than your opinion is wrong.”  
No one has said that, and you know that. You’re becoming as defensive over this just as the articles branding anyone that disliked it as “sexist trolls”

Sectioned literally responded to Shylover saying that he liked the movie but respected Sectioned’s opinions with, “The movie was shit”. How else am I supposed to interpret that?
 
Oh, and by the way, I’m well aware of that Mary Sue article that you’re probably referring to, and TONS of people called them out on it.
 
And do I need to remind you once again that there were over 50,000 user reviews on RT after the movie had only been out for a few hours? And even now there’s at least 7000. You can’t pretend that all of those are real reviews by real people.

Because of this, I think more woman will get revenge against men who ridiculed women (for the word SJWs labeled to women by skeptics and conservatives) by accusing more men of sexual harassment, and Warner Bros.’ chairman Kevin Tsujihara will be one who’s next to end up just like John Lasetter, Chris Savino and Harvey Weinstein.
 
If it wasn’t for the controversy regarding these three, the Weinstein effect wouldn’t exist.

Yes, but it’s at the time that women in general were considered “Social Justice Warriors” and feminazis by the internet nowadays (even before GB2016 and the Star Wars sequels). And a lot of women did accuse them of sexual harassment than men.
 
And that leads me to believe that people will call the victims SJWs who hate men or something. Hell, even Sargon of Akkad called it SJW propaganda and signification of a female takeover of Hollywood.
 
Also it made me believe that it’s a woman’s vengeance and warning for men who call them SJWs for GB16, Hillary Clinton, Star Wars and now Captain Marvel. And it’s over GENDER.

It is really bad. And Rotten Tomatoes is corrupt as fuck. Deleting reviews, removing the ‘want to see’ rating. If you want to see the real score go to metacritic and look at the user reviews.

I’m not personally able to do this open mind thing. I still go into something with a shit ton of assumptions and expectations.
 
“Open Mind” is when I humble myself before the evidence and admit I was wrong–or that I was right. When I let the evidence guide me, that’s what I think “open mind” is.
