Well, it is still a 500, so it is a tiny little Euro car. It’s just a fun one that likes to make racecar noises. The easy way to spot the difference between the Abarth and the regular ones is the scorpion badge in place of the Fiat one. There’s usually a big Abarth sticker/stripe down the side too, but I guess that’s an option.
The 500X and 500L are a little different platform than the regular 500; it’s the on the “mini” platform, while the L and X are the “small US wide” (and so is the Jeep Renegade).
The Soul is one of those cars that I’m not particularly interested in owning myself, but I will never say a thing against it. It’s very affordable, does its job well, and even though there are hundreds of the things on the road, they’re good looking enough and come in interesting enough colors that they never get monotonous to look at. It almost reminds me of what the original Beetle was in its day.
Kia’s supposed to be coming out with a 200-ish HP turbo version soon, too, so that one ought to make a zippy little runaround.
