Is there plans in the future to enable or disable anonymous comments (for uploaders)? Why or Why not and when can we expect it if the day ever does come?

What do you mean by enable or disable? as far as i know, you can already comment as anon when you upload something and we don’t plan to change that…

I mean that on some sites uploaders have the option to disable Anonymous comments.  
Though I suppose from your answer that implies that option is not going to be avaliable.

No plans, partially because we’re focusing on bigger things but also because we don’t want to drag the burden of code maintenance down with minute details like that.

it, the politics thread, and a few others basically function like the containment grid from ghostbusters. they’re so mind-numbing that reading them practically guarantees death like a forum version of the ring, but at least they stop a lot of that chaff from stinking up the rest of the site.

I’d say quarantine for less friendly subjects really. As even some of the nicest people can become icky when it comes to those subjects~
 
Worst taste: After my stomach surgery, I had to be on a pure liquid diet for a few weeks. But still needed to take my medications. So I was having to take the pills and crush/open them and pour out the powder into the little 1 ounce cups I was drinking from.
 
So, imagine the horrible taste of that pill powder in your mouth, but times several pills. In liquid form so it stays stuck to your mouth. Every day. Twice a day. For weeks.
