I guess, their butt is feline, as everything else back there. Basically, a gryphon is a feline with bird head and bird-like front legs.

I was so confused until I remembered that griffons are literally half lion and not just weirdly furry eagles. This does raise some questions, though. Where does the mammal part end and the avian part begin reproductive-wise? Maybe they are like monotremes? Thoughts to think about.

True about the eggs, but the back half of a griffon is the back half of a lion and lions have nipples. Its sensible that griffons would have nipples for this reason even if they aren’t functional.

I love casual nakedness. Amazing piece of art.

It is true that these are artistic issues. But if the griffins are born of eggs, they probably don’t have nipples.

There is no sexual subtext, no emphasis on the nipples. Exactly the same nipples you can see on your cat. I think the “safe” tag is quite appropriate for this art.
