The picture is not intended to stay only on this site, but is for the whole community I guess.Also is the trans day of visibility. So restricting the message of a picture because “there is already a rule against discrimination” makes no sense, is art there is no reason to restrict a message because is perceived as “redundant” by someone. Also considering the many downvotes i think the message has still not reached everyone.  
Also free speech. Free speech is something that belong to everyone, not only conservative activists.

I’m not against people being trans. As long as they don’t force straight people to become trans (because I want to stay as who I was born, a guy), I don’t mind. People can do whatever they want.

For me. I think it’s because images like these on a site that literally has a rule against discrimination just seem kinda dumb.
 
“Respect Trans Rights” and the site already has a rule that says to respect other peoples rights.
 
That and the statement, when you think about it, is very arrogant.
 
It’s basically making it sound like Trans deserve more than ordinary people, similar to ___ Lives Matter and ___ Power.
 
A much better phrase would be “Trans are people, too.”.

Yeah- sadly I think I grew up seeing a lot more hate directed towards trans people, and still to this day see hate directed towards trans people, because I live in a very rural area. The tides are definitely becoming kinder to the trans community, but wanted to make a small post to show my support since it’s a very personal issue to me.

Shame on the people who downvoted this.
