The two aren’t mutually exclusive. Those who choose to actively dislike her are ultimately the minority all things considered; it’s just that people on both sides of the spectrum are very vocal when it comes to arguing about her character. As for me, while I’m not exactly thrilled at seeing her like this, I can assure you I am anything but triggered or irritated.

Exactly. Admittedly my mind did jump there upon first viewing the image (in part because of seeing so much of that stuff on Derpibooru), but after taking the time to properly process this piece, I’ve since reconsidered.

I’d say this would still count. It’s abuse in the sense that Storm King’s forces show absolutely no concern for who they might injure or kill in landing the airship and deploying the ramp. In other words, they wouldn’t care at all if they realized they crushed someone. The only difference is that it’s not aimed at anyone specifically, and Starlight just happens to the inadvertent target in this particular scenario.

And after some thinking, I’ve come to that conclusion as well (which is why I have no problem with the tag being removed). I still imagine the artist must have been aware of what the potential response to this would be, but the art in itself does not seem to intentionally attempt to incite drama.
