Yes, but a Sparity hater (with an older Spike I mean) would have no legs to stand on, unlike Flashlight haters. Sporty does not have the sort of Dramabait reputation that Flashlight has, so we can actually tell Sparity haters to suck it up because we need SOMETHING to use as a Spoiler Image.

For those speaking about how we’re subjecting so many people to this horrible horrible spoiler image… Only 17 people on the site will see it in normal lists, and only two of these happen to also spoiler flashlight.
 
You’ll all also be happy to know that there are a wealth of scripts and plugins that will with just a couple of clicks forevermore block such an offensive image.
 
As for why Sparity wasn’t chosen, it being a tag for interspecies can easily imply to many reciprocal attraction and/or something more concrete (and physical) than a one-way crush; ie. a relationship between an adult and a child. I’d have to believe people would have a greater problem with that, really.
 
And people would bitch just the same (or more, probably, for dislestia) if this were any of the various Discord ships, none of which are even vaguely hinted at in canon.
 
 
At the end of the day, if a 50x50 pixel icon that will only appear if you search for “interspecies” offends you so much and you’re technically incapable of blocking it, I don’t think you should be on this site or on the internet in general.

My whole reasoning behind it was Braeburn had the whole “everyone’s gay for Braeburn” thing, and Double Diamond was “the new Braeburn”, so in a tongue-in-cheek way putting them together was as gay as it could get.
 
Also too, I’m not touching “Human on pony action” because it already has a spoiler pic.

Huh, I didn’t think to look that up. But, you’re right, there’s ~15 images that cross the two. Even on E621, there’s only a few images of the two together. Same with Paheal. Does this ship just not get much art or something?
 
Well, at any rate, that bodes well for this image. Maybe (hopefully) this will be able to just skirt by, and most won’t notice… *crosses fingers*

Huh… I had no idea Double Diamond had that kind of popularity. I can understand Braeburn since he looks like a hunky cowboy type, but Double Diamond always looked like a regular Joe Schmoe stallion to me. What’s so attractive about him? Is it his hair?

If Brad/Flash Sentry became a main character in the cartoon, I’d be able to accept it as reality. In fanfiction we would still have Twilight having sleepovers with her friends in her tree library.
