What about in s2e10? When Spike defeats the wonderbolts by dint of… uh… holding up a building and waiting for them to crash into it. Surely these ‘precision fliers’ have heard of such concepts as ‘stopping’ or ‘turning’ right?
 
It’s not like they’re stuntflyers who are expected to so such things on a dime at high speed, right?

Would explain why she’s not in already. They know of Rainbow Dash flies along side them, the Wonderbolts will end up looking like chumps.
 
If Dash wasn’t such a brown noser, she could probably just form her own team and kick the Wonderbolt’s asses.

Dash would raise the bar. That’s why they keep making her jump through all these hoops to get there, she makes all of them look bad. Rainbow Dash performed a Sonic Rainboom when she was like 8. What the fuck have Spitfire or Soarin’ done?
