Answer me this - who the hell expects someone to bring an actual magical being to the town they love and cherish so said magical being can destroy it…simply to see something cool?
Well, in that case she should’ve been prepared for such situations, rather than waiting for someone to call her bluff.
To be fair, that’s exactly what you do in show business, especially when you rely on it so heavily for income. Build up your persona and whatnot.
I’m not saying that she wasn’t being an ass, mind, but she was doing what showpeople do.
Well, if Trixie hadn’t boasted about beating an Ursa, Snips and Snails wouldn’t have gotten the bright idea to lure one into town for her to show off her “amazing powers” against. She really did set herself up for a fall.
She has, according to the comics, but I’d like to see her again soon in the show.
At least we know she’ll bounce back.
On the boasting, Trixie’s boasting was relatively harmless and a part of her show and she has the post happen to her but by contrast Rainbow Dash’s boasting in “The Mysterious Mare Do Well” was a actually detrimental to the lives of others and her friends make her feel like crap and then give her a talking to.

inb4 I know that Trixie’s stage house being destroyed wasn’t their fault it. It was Snips and Snails being incredibly stupid. but it is still aggravating.
Boasted, and almost destroyed Ponyville because of that stupid amulet…that’s all I can gather, but people like to label her a villain.
I would argue that she wasn’t a villain in the first place. I mean seriously what did Trixie actually do wrong?
