When nightmare moon was reverted back to Luna, she did appear younger at first. Her mane didn’t even flow like her sister’s. After her magic and her wellbeing recuperated, she grew back to her normal stature. You could say she regenerated, much like The Doctor in Doctor Who

why is luna almost always depicted in fanart as being a lot smaller or younger than celestia when they’re younger, but in modern depictions is about the same age and height even after a thousand years apart?
