It’s kinda weak. The worse Einsman struggles to look like he’s in control when he isn’t the more he looks like that 7 year old little kid that tries to win arguments by repeating “because” over and over or insulting others; convincing none around him that he’s in control yet still adding a little more annoyance to those around him with each response.
 
Truth is this probably would have ended immediately if he just said sorry right after insulting a fan base. But he’s the type that doesn’t want to admit fault. Which ironically only makes him look more at fault; it isn’t like failing to admit it means no one can see it anyway.

Would any of you cut it out?

if you’re insulting someone’s likes then your “jokes” can quickly cross the line into bullying. the way you delivered your “joke” was arrogant and insulting towards anyone who likes homestuck.
 
pro tip: if your jokes require nobody from a group be present, and everybody present to be bigoted towards that specific group, your joke counts as bullying at the very least. (which in this case yours did.)

huh… I’ve never heard that song IRL, but I had the exact instrumental playing in my head as I read this… this is a bad sign.

The only reason I could say someone would not like Homestuck would be it’s format. It’s an unusual format. It’s definitely not stupid though. Everything in that comic was planned out years in advance and gets hinted at from a long time before it kicks in. In comparison My Little Pony gets made up as it goes along.

On the Homestuck forums we take a page from Bill and Ted and phrase it as “be excellent to eachother”.

We have the rules posted somewhere, but rule #0 can basically be summed up as, “Don’t be a dick to other people on the site.” It’s our most important rule, but also the one that users and BPs most frequently ignore.
