Well it happened to the Emperor like four times in the books. and Luke twice. and chewbacca. and leia. the expanded universe and wookiepedia both say that anyone who can manifest as a force specter (obi-wan, yoda) has the potential to be resurrected.
@Greenjack
Not really rage, I just don’t like how everyone seems to out right think the worst on anything with Star Wars after Disney bought Lucasfilm, I’m sick of it.
I dunno. I’ve heard enough rumours saying that some of the main cast from the original movies might return, which would suggest that any new movies would be set after Episode VI.
Still, I’d rather that ended up being true than this latest tabloid rumour turning out to be legit.
And yeah, this is probably just a rumor. But I wouldn’t be suprised if they did something equally stupid. (Or it could be awesome, but I’m expecting it to not be, due to the recent movies.)
Well the EU did bring back Palpatine several times… But Salamence is right, Vader had closure when he died. His character arc is pretty much done and over with.
Then again, the EU did also bring him back as a ghost at one point, but only so that he could finally have closure with Leia.
@RIG I know, but it still felt cheap, esp. since he kept talking. I’m of the opinion they should have kept the resurrection to big people, and have them fight guys they hadn’t interacted with yet. XD
Vader’s time between episodes 3 & 4 was spent training Starkiller.

just
stop
plus no one said they have to be in chronological order
it could take place during the 20 year gap
actually, it was good, it gave Sasuke anothe opportunity to talk with his brother, even if they are fighting.

uhh…you know that he was bought back as a zombie with no free will to be part of an army of zombies with no free will, right?
