I’m sure some have brought up the concept that Twilight actually used alicorn magic to a) hatch spike and b) use the EoH against NMM in the series opener and against Discord in the season 2 opener, but now seeing those same telltale signs when Celesstia, Luna and Cadence were tapping their alicorn magic to transfer it to Twilight, it can be said that having the magic of the princesses at a young age revealed to Celestia that she was destined to become one.
