I see the confusion. I was only commenting on “cameos don’t count”.
And yes, she may not have lied, but her assurances ended up being false. Most likely since she couldn’t make those assurances anyways, and she knew it. She deserves some flack for it.
@Drama King
The person who made that tweet was a jerk.
“lying”? The creators do not owe you any promises, idiot.
Even ignoring the nerve of such a demand, it’d be like asking them to make a promise on behalf of not only themselves, but also on behalf of Hasbro and everyone else who works on the show, which they obviously do not have control over.

I’m not sure why people are so upset about supposedly lying. THe creators of a work often will change things in a piece up until the last minute, so a statement about context may be out of date or completely wrong by the time it airs. The show’s staff isn’t required to inform us every time they change their minds about what’s going to happen in it.

Cameos don’t count. Or she possibly didn’t know about it, she didn’t know about the Slenderpony cameo. (Maybe Slenderpony appeared on his own somehow… Spooky!)
Let’s not start that “Don’t believe her lies!” fear-mongering B.S. now,

My theory: The animators knew Meghan had tweeted about Flash not being a character in Season 4, so they put him in this scene as a prank on her.
The fact that he was there for a couple of seconds and people are screaming their lungs off finally proves to me that this is the most terrible fandom.
